Join for the season

Membership runs 1 July to 30 June and includes AusTriathlon membership, race insurance within Australia, access to all training and club equipment, and a 10% discount on 2XU series races.

How do I join Bayside Triathlon Club?

Membership is completed through the AusTriathlon website — select Bayside Tri Club as your club during sign-up. AusTriathlon membership is compulsory and club fees are added to the AusTriathlon rate. The membership year runs 1 July to 30 June.

How much does membership cost?

Full membership is $244 per year, junior membership is $60 per year, and social membership is $45 per year, in conjunction with your AusTriathlon registration.

I'm a complete beginner — is the club right for me?

Absolutely. The club is welcoming and inclusive of all skills, abilities and goals — whether your ambition is finishing at Kona or entering your first fun triathlon. AusTriathlon also offers 8-week trial and 14-day memberships so you can test the waters.

Where does the club train?

Swim squads run at GESAC (Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre), runs at Sandringham Athletics Track and Duncan McKinnon Reserve, rides depart Cheltenham Station, and our clubrooms sit on the Sandringham foreshore with spin bikes, gym equipment and SUPs.

Does the club cater for juniors?

Yes — junior training is delivered in partnership with Momentum Endurance Coaching, whose priority focus is coaching juniors. Junior membership is $60 per year.
